IDFC procures goods, services and works through established procurement mechanisms, primarily:
- Open tender processes; or
- Requests for quotations (RFQs) or calls for quotes.
The procurement method used depends on the nature and value of the requirement.

- The IDFC Procurement Portal;
- National Treasury’s eTender Publication Portal (www.etenders.gov.za); and
- For construction-related tenders, the CIDB Tender Search portal (https://registers.cidb.org.za/PublicTenders/TenderSearch).
No. IDFC does not maintain its own database of prospective suppliers.
IDFC uses the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) to identify and verify suppliers for procurement opportunities.
Yes. Your business must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) to be eligible to participate in IDFC procurement processes.
No. Registration on the CSD makes your company eligible to participate in IDFC procurement processes, but it does not guarantee that you will receive quotation requests or invitations to tender. Suppliers should monitor the IDFC Procurement Portal and other relevant procurement portals for advertised opportunities.
